Blueprint for Affordable Energy Launch
No matter where we come from, what we look like, or how much money we make, we all deserve clean air and clean water, to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter, to be able to pay our utility bills without sacrificing other necessities, and to protect the places we love and call home for future generations.
Unfortunately, Wall Street utility companies are raising our rates to pay for energy and infrastructure that makes our air dirtier, our kids sicker, and our weather more extreme–ignoring more affordable, cleaner and more reliable solutions to our energy needs.
This Blueprint for Affordable Energy, from People's Action Institute, is a call to action for governors, state legislators, federal officials, community organizers and frustrated ratepayers ready to unite to lay down the path for clean, affordable and reliable energy for all.

Housing & Energy Action Team
Where: Hybrid - MAPC Geier Room or Zoom (info below)
Everyone needs a stable home to live in and affordable utilities to help us stay there. We support permanent, significant funding for the City's Affordable Housing Trust Fund. We are also working for programs to fund home repair, energy efficiency & weatherization, and to avoid evictions and energy shutoffs. We support affordable, clean, reliable energy that doesn't harm our people or our planet.
Join us for a discussion on our next steps to achieve these goals.
Rapid Response & Direct Action Team
This meeting will be Zoom (let staff know if you prefer in-person), and will meet monthly to determine CUFA's Rapid Responses to state & federal issues that impact our members and the work we are doing in our local campaigns.
Contact CUFA staff for instructions to join.
