If you or someone you know are having trouble navigating available assistance programs, CUFA is doing a virtual Town Hall this Thursday with several speakers who will talk about what's available and how to apply. Help us spread the word about the Town Hall this week!
Here are the top 3 actions you can take this week:
-
-
Are you or someone you know having trouble navigating available housing & utility assistance? Join us (virtually) for the CUFA Town Hall: Navigating Housing & Utility Assistance March 4 from 6:30-7:30 PM. We will have speakers on hand to cover all the available assistance programs and how to apply. Register here to receive Zoom instructions to join us this Thursday evening. Share the event with anyone you know might be having trouble getting the assistance they need to avoid evictions, foreclosures or utility shutoffs.
- Join CUFA to support the charter amendment to require Cincinnati to provide $50 million annually for the Affordable Housing Trust Fund. This amendment will be on the May 4 ballot. CUFA is supporting it because Cincinnati needs affordable housing for 25,000 families and individuals. The amendment does not specify how the City will come up with the required $50 million; it simply requires the City to make affordable housing a priority. Click here for more information about the proposed amendment. If you have questions, or if you would like to join CUFA’s efforts to fund the Affordable Housing Trust Fund, email us at [email protected]. Be sure to include your name and phone number.
- From now until June 1, 2021, our Membership Committee has issued a Membership Challenge: The person who recruits the most *new* members will win a $25 Visa gift card! Reserve your postcards (pictured below) to send to friends and family to invite them to join CUFA here. Contact us at [email protected] or (513) 853-3947 for membership forms or tips on how to recruit new members.
