Week of January 25: CUFA Congress, Fair Sewer Rates & Ohio Redistricting

It's time for the CUFA Congress! Find out more about this Saturday's virtual event, our efforts to build more power to win fair sewer rates, and tell us what you think about Ohio's upcoming redistricting and more in this week's Activist Toolkit.

Here are the top 3 actions you can take this week:

  1. Register now for the CUFA Congress virtual meeting on Saturday, January 30 at 10 AM. We will celebrate our victories, chart our course for 2021, draw for a door prize, and play some games (including CUFA trivia). We will also update CUFA's bylaws. Register here to receive instructions to join the Jan. 30 CUFA Congress on Zoom.

  2. Do you know an organization, community group, or business that cares about winning sewer rates that are fair for everyone? Invite them to send a representative to join our Fair Sewer Rates Coalition (virtually) Tuesday, Jan. 26 from 4-5:00PM  Find out more and register here to join this virtual meeting this Tuesday.

  3. Do you want fair representation in our government? It's time for redistricting! In recent years, Ohio voters have approved two ballot issues to change the way we draw the lines for state and congressional districts. This year will be the first time the lines are redrawn for Ohio districts, following the completion of the 2020 Census. Will you take 2 minutes to let us know how you feel about the upcoming redistricting? Click here to share your thoughts!
