**Due to the holiday, the CUFA Sewer Justice team will meet on July 7**

Our Sewer Justice Team won a 7th consecutive year of sewer rate freezes, a change to the rules to allow sewer backup victims more time to report backups, and launched an effort to address overland flooding. Join us for our regular Sewer Justice meeting on Thursday, July 7 at 5 p.m.  We will: 

• Strategize to get our sewers fixed first in neighborhoods hardest hit by sewer backups and overflows; 
• Make sure people get the help they need when the sewers cause backups;
• Figure out how to get an overland flooding program, and
• Make sewer rates fair and affordable for everyone.
