As if the ongoing pandemic isn't bad enough, Cincinnati continues to face an affordable housing crisis. Many residents are still struggling to afford utilities as well. This week, join our Housing Action Team (on Tuesday, Feb. 16) and take action for Fair Sewer Rates.

We know a lot of the Coronavirus relief aid has expired. While we are waiting for the next batch of funding and unemployment, we cannot let up the pressure on Governor DeWine to stop utility shutoffs - especially gas and electric. Take action today to contact him, and join our Energy Affordability Action Team Tuesday to talk about what we'll do next to pressure the Governor. This week, CUFA is also participating in a panel discussion as part of the Environmental Justice Symoposium hosted by GBBN Architects.

Join us (from a distance, with a mask) and help amplify the action on social media by making a post using the tag @GovMikeDeWine. We hope you will join us for our Housing Action Team meeting and the VOTE on MSD's 2021 budget too.

Join our Sewer Justice Team this week at the Sewer Budget Hearing Thursday, and mark your calendars for the Dec. 15 Caroling & Letter Delivery next week to stop utility shutoffs.

This week, we're asking you and your kids to take action to stop utility shutoffs and to push for more COVID relief. We know that families are still struggling to keep up, and we know that Gov. DeWine CAN HELP. We should not be shutting off utilities while asking people to stay home, and to do schooling remotely. Take action this week, and we will deliver your comments and letters to Gov. DeWine this December.
