 CUFA YOUTH COUNCIL

The council is made up of motivated youth ages 11-17 from several Cincinnati neighborhoods, including South Cumminsville, Millvale, Northside, and Winton Place.  We work on issues affecting our neighborhoods and us. 

 

We believe empowered youth will make their communities healthier, more vibrant places to live.  The CUFA Youth Council involves youth in working on the issues that affect their communities so they can make their voices heard and build youth decision-making power.

 Some of the things we've done:

  • Met with Mayor Mark Mallory to discuss youth jobs
  • Participated in the Neighborhood Summit three years in a row
  • Held a Christmas Party so the South Cumminsville youth could have Christmas toys
  • Planted flowers and trees, picked up litter, and cleaned up abandoned houses for Keep Cincinnati Beautiful Day
