Public Housing

Our Public Housing work revolves around these main issues:

Any person, regardless of their immigration status, should be allowed the ability to live in subsidized housing

One-for-one, like-for-like replacement for public housing that’s demolished, disposed, or converted

Get rid of community service and work requirements for subsidized housing residents

Do away with permanent bans on living in subsidized housing for criminal offenses

Voucher holders shouldn't be discriminated against based on their source of income (their voucher)

No person should be denied access to subsidized housing based on their credit history

Residents should be guaranteed the right to organize, form independent tenant unions or other organizations that helps protect their right to due-process
