Federal Reserve Community Meeting

Over 150 community members came out to our Federal Reserve Community Meeting on Tuesday, July 21st!
Community leaders testified about the foreclosure crisis, vacant properties and REO's, the need for a small loan program to replace Payday Loans, the high cost of overdraft, ATM, and other bank fees, the need for banks to help people who are having trouble with their mortgages, and many others.
Representing the Federal Reserve Board of Governors were Anna Alverez Boyd, Associate Director of Analysis and Communications and Joseph Firschein, Assistant Director and Community Affairs Officer. From the Cleveland Federal Reserve was Ruth Clevenger, Vice President of Community Affairs, Todd Morgano, Assistant Vice President of the Public Information Department, and Mary Helen Petrus, Community Affairs Manager.
