Communities United for Action is a membership organization. Through our membership, we build a powerful organization that can address issues that impact our lives.  CUFA members are  individuals, community councils, churches, block clubs and community organizations. Members get  voting privileges at the  CUFA Congress and help set the priorities for the organization.

By becoming a CUFA member, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills through creating solutions to community problems, holding public officials accountable for neighborhood needs, and helping to organize public meetings. Also, there is a yearly opportunity to participate in a grassroots organizing trip to Washington D.C. with our national group, National People’s Action. You will have an opportunity to fight for improved environmental standards for new businesses in over-burdened Cincinnati neighborhoods, support homeownership opportunities for people of all incomes and races by fighting predatory lending and for public support for low-income homeownership opportunities, and combat the foreclosure crisis by developing solutions for vacant and foreclosed properties.
