Showdown in Chicago!

On October 25th and 26th, CUFA and community organizations across the country stood up to big banks and said ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!  Over 1,000 people attended the Showdown in Chicago to protest the American Bankers Association, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs, and the banking industry in general.

The American Bankers Association lobbies on behalf of banks and is currently trying to stop the Consumer Financial Protection Agency from being created as part of recent financial reform legislation.  This is the reason we were at the ABA's convention protesting them.

We also paid a visit to Wells Fargo, who has had the most foreclosures in Cincinnati several years in a row.  The group also went to visit Goldman Sachs, the company who is still giving out billions in bonuses and even got swine flue vaccines for their employees when schools and  hospitals were told there aren't enough.

CUFA members decided to join this movement and RECLAIM AMERICA!  We are still working on financial reform - if you are interested in joining us - send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
