Roger Davis, Board President

Roger has been involved with CUFA for a long time but this will be his first time on the Executive Board. Roger first became involved through CUFA’s efforts to stop Predatory Lending. Roger is currently the chair of the Citizens Against Loan Sharks, a group that focuses on helping people save their homes and stopping predatory lending.

Roger was a City of Cincinnati Police Officer from 1973-1998, during this time he received 26 Accomadations and the Captain’s Award for Outstanding Policing. Roger continues to be involved with the Police through his involvement in the National Black Police Association, Fraternal Order of Police, and the Sentinel Police Association. Roger seved as President of the Sentinels from 1984-1986 and received their award for Outstanding Community Service.

Roger is also an active member of the NAACP and the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. He currently serves on the Board for the Human Involvement Project in addition to his duties as President of CUFA and Chair of the Citizens Against Loan Sharks.
